RESTORATION OF A BUILDING IN SALAMIS

Reconstruction and maintenance of the façade of an abandoned two-story building, in a central point of the traditional settlement, for the use of a shop on both floors.

The shell was meticulously restored, the interior was clad with traditional materials such as marble and wood, and the colors were applied using traditional techniques.

The whole architectural solution was based on the central decision to preserve and restore the form, combined with the design for a modern function and the need for large openings on the ground floor.
