This is a four-floor building that houses two uses, commercial use downstairs and office use developed at the three levels above. The two distinct uses are reflected by the organisation of the blocks of the building, with the smallest volume of ground projecting the balance.
The dominant mode of offise use and the desired flexibility of the space in terms of number of employees and the possibility of enhanced cooperation has led to a corresponding organization of three levels of development use with large gaps between the floors for direct communication between users. Moreover, while workplaces are grown on different floors, however, the library has a leading role in space and extends to two floors essentially combining visual areas.
In front there is a large glass surface giving perfect visibility to the harbour of the island, lots of light in the workplace and in conjunction with the placement of openings in the diametrical wall and the presence of a large bioclimatic chimney, provides the building natural ventilation and cooling.
