EPTAPYRGIO COMPETITION IN THESSALONIKI

This proposal is about the redesign of the surrounding area of Eptapyrgio in Thessaloniki, aiming at the promotion of the monument, the organized tour of it and the hosting of small cultural events.

The design is proposed as a sequence of circular routes in the monumental complex, forming a “necklace” of outdoor spaces that host city viewpoints, the entrance to the monumental complex, a parking area, a small outdoor theatre, and plantings with plants of the Greek countryside.
