Interior design project of a spa center in an existing hotel on the island of Kos in the Dodecanese.
It is located in an environment with high competition of equivalent services so the basic design goal was to give a recognizable, distinct identity that is attractive to the high quality tourists.
Ancient Greek morphology with an emphasis on simplicity.
Classical materials: marble, bronze, cloth.
The folding as a basic morphological loan from the ancient Greek columns meets in the fabric of the entrance space, the wall lining around the corridor round the atrium even on the facade of the wooden cabinets of the treatment rooms.
Finally, the water element in the atrium gave the sense of tranquility while it functions as an open-air waiting and relaxation room.
