Bioclimatic residence

To achieve proper ventilation and to acquire a free view towards the seaside, the main volume of the house has large windows towards the South and smaller ones towards the North.

A solar chimney with special openings was placed at the western part of the building, regulating summer cooling and winter heating.

The bioclimatic approach to the design was also enhanced by means of mechanical engineering: an infrastructure of solar panels on the roof of the building, the collection of rainwater and heating system beneath the floor.

The owners’ care and concern for the development and support of bioclimatic parameters in their residence’s design, makes it an affordable and functional living pot.
